Conditions for issuance
All foreigners arriving on National Territory are required to present themselves to the competent authorities responsible for border control, with a valid travel document accompanied by a consular visa.
However, in urgent cases, the Border Police may, on an exceptional basis, issue a regularization visa to foreigners who present themselves at border posts without a visa.
This measure applies to foreign nationals whose country of residence does not have Algerian diplomatic and consular representations.
